Professional Hunter & Dangerous Game Specialist
I was born on July 6, 1979, in Erbach, Germany, and from the very beginning, hunting was in my blood. My father was a professional hunter in Africa, and I had the privilege of joining him on countless trips into the bush as a boy. Those early years taught me not just how to hunt, but how to truly respect the land, the animals, and the legacy of African hunting traditions.
In 2000, I earned my professional hunting license in Namibia, and with that, my own journey as a PH began. Nine years later, after countless hours in the field and close encounters with Africa’s most formidable game, I obtained my dangerous game license. From that point on, I operated hunting concessions in Namibia’s Caprivi region and other remote areas, guiding clients in pursuit of buffalo, elephant, and the kind of experiences that stay with you for life.
Africa has always been more than a place of work for me—it’s where I feel most alive.
In 2024, I joined Uganda Wildlife Safaris as a partner and active professional hunter. It’s been an exciting chapter, bringing my experience to Uganda’s diverse landscapes and continuing to offer clients ethical and unforgettable hunts.
I take pride in a responsible, conservation-focused approach to hunting. Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for understanding the nuances of animal behavior, ecosystems, and the importance of preserving what we love for the next generation.
Speaking of the next generation—my two young boys are already showing a strong interest in hunting. Watching them take their first steps into this world I grew up in is one of the greatest joys of my life.
