Safari Participation and Risk
Participation in hunting safaris, wilderness travel, and outdoor activities involves inherent risks. These risks may include encounters with dangerous wildlife, remote locations, challenging terrain, weather conditions, and limited access to medical facilities.
By booking or participating in a safari organized by Uganda Wildlife Safaris Ltd., clients acknowledge these risks and accept full responsibility for their participation.
Clients are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance, medical coverage, and all required travel documentation, including visas, firearm permits, and health certificates where applicable.
Hunting Regulations and Conservation
Uganda Wildlife Safaris Ltd. conducts all safaris in accordance with the laws and wildlife regulations of the Republic of Uganda and under the supervision of the Uganda Wildlife Authority and other relevant authorities.
The company works in cooperation with local communities, landowners, and conservation authorities to promote sustainable wildlife management and responsible hunting practices.
Species availability, hunting quotas, and permit requirements may change without notice due to government decisions or conservation policies. Uganda Wildlife Safaris Ltd. cannot guarantee the availability of specific species and cannot be held responsible for regulatory changes imposed by authorities.
Third-Party Services
Uganda Wildlife Safaris Ltd. may arrange services provided by third parties such as airlines, charter operators, hotels, transport providers, and local partners.
While reputable partners are carefully selected, Uganda Wildlife Safaris Ltd. cannot be held liable for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, or failures of third-party service providers.
Limitation of Liability
Uganda Wildlife Safaris Ltd. shall not be liable for any injury, illness, accident, loss, damage, delay, or additional costs incurred during travel or safari participation arising from circumstances beyond its control. These include, but are not limited to:
• Weather conditions
• Wildlife behavior
• Government regulations or policy changes
• Political or security situations
• Airline or transportation delays
• Medical emergencies
• Force majeure events
Participation in safaris is undertaken entirely at the client’s own risk.
